What happens during your dental health check?
- We discuss how you feel about the health of your teeth and gums
- We listen to any problems or concerns you may have
- We check for any changes in your medical condition (as this could affect the health of your mouth)
- We check:-
- that your teeth are biting correctly
- the health of your teeth
- the condition of your fillings/crowns, etc.
- the health of your tongue, lips, cheeks and the skin inside your mouth
- the health of your gums
- the presence of plaque on your teeth
- under, behind and inside your teeth (with x-rays, where and when appropriate)

- We assess the health of the bone that holds your teeth in place
We discuss our findings and offer advice about these and any other concerns you may have. |
